John P. Dickson is a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Ancient History at Macquarie University (Sydney), where he teaches Jewish and Christian origins. He is the author of a dozen books, including Mission Commitment in Ancient Judaism and in the Pauline Communities and Jesus: A Short Life.
