Brief Biography of

Charles Taliaferro


Charles Taliaferro, Professor of Philosophy at St. Olaf College, is the author or editor of eight books, most recently Evidence and Faith: Philosophy and Religion since the Seventeenth Century (Cambridge University Press, 2005). He has given lectures at Oxford, Cambridge, Columbia, the University of Chicago, Princeton, New York University, and elsewhere. He is currently coediting with Paul Draper the second edition of Blackwell's A Companion to Philosophy of Religion. Professor Taliaferro is on the editorial board of Religious Studies, Faith and Philosophy, Sophia, American Philosophical Quarterly, Philosophy Compass, Religious Studies Review, and Ars Disputandi. He is also the coauthor with Stewart Goetz of a book entitled Naturalism which is forthcoming with Eerdmans.
