Phil Kershner

Phil Kershner is a United Church of Christ minister who long ago gave up the concept of a "God out there." For him, to be a Christian means no more than to see something in the life of Jesus that is worth emulating. He thus self-identifies as a Christian humanist, with the emphasis on "humanist." He has been a minister for 17 years. Prior to that, he was a high school math teacher for 17 years. He is married to his wife, Sandee, with two daughters, both currently in graduate school (one at the University of Chicago, the other at Colorado State University). Phil's hobbies include reading, traveling, and finding interesting resources on the web.
