Matt Young
Matt Young is Adjunct Professor at the Colorado School of Mines, retired Physicist with the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Fellow of the Optical Society of America, and winner of the Department of Commerce Gold and Silver Medals for his work in optical communications. He is the author of Optics and Lasers, The Technical Writer's Handbook, and No Sense of Obligation: Science and Religion in an Impersonal Universe. He is coeditor (with Taner Edis) of Why Intelligent Design Fails: A Scientific Critique of the New Creationism, to be published by Rutgers University Press in the summer of 2004.
