Let’s Accelerate Secularization!

Of the 30% of Americans who are now religiously unaffiliated “Nones,” the purple half (43.6%) dubbed ‘Zealous Atheists’ (who trend younger) and ‘Dones’ (who trend older) fall into what pollsters have previously called ‘neither spiritual nor religious.’ And the vast majority of these two groupings report that they “rely mostly on reason and evidence” when making important decisions.
