Select Christian Apologetics Web Sites

Note: The following list of links is not intended to be a comprehensive list of Christian apologetics web sites; however, it does include many of what we consider to be the best apologetics sites on the Web. From these initial sites, interested readers will be able to find links to practically all of the other Christian apologetics sites on the web. We provide the following links in a spirit of understanding and open-mindedness, and we encourage the sites listed below to reciprocate.

Access Research Network (Michael Behe and Phillip Johnson)

"Access Research Network is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing accessible information on science, technology and society." Responses to Behe and Johnson are available.

Christian Apologetics

This site has a "Skeptics Welcome Station," in which the author claims that he is a Christian skeptic. The site focuses on Darwinism and has a link to the Secular Web.

The Evangelical Philosophical Society

"... is committed to offering the Church and the Academy first-rate scholarship in the areas of apologetics, philosophy of religion, philosophy, philosophical theology, world views, philosophical and theological prolegomena, epistemology, and ethics."

Leadership University

"The purpose of Leadership U. is to help accelerate the worldwide spread of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ through higher education." This site includes the virtual offices of Bill Dembski, William Lane Craig, Rob Koons, and Walter Bradley. Responses to Craig are available.

Ravi Zacharias International Ministries

Founded by ex-Hindu Ravi Zacharias, this ministry dwells in existential apologetics, although Zacharias does discuss various arguments for the existence of God, including the cosmological, teleological, and moral arguments. The Secular Web has published a response to Zacharias.

Reasons to Believe

This is the organization led by astronomer Hugh Ross. Reasons to Believe tends to focus on the interface between science and Christianity. The organization describes itself as "an international, interdenominational ministry established to communicate the uniquely factual basis for belief in the Bible as the wholly true Word of God and for personal faith in Jesus Christ." The website includes a link to the Secular Web. Various rebuttals to Ross are available on the Secular Web.

The Society of Christian Philosophers

"The Society of Christian Philosophers was organized in 1978 to promote fellowship among Christian Philosophers and to stimulate study and discussion of issues which arise from their Christian and philosophical commitments." The Society publishes an excellent peer-reviewed journal called Faith and Philosophy; regrettably, this journal is not available electronically on the Web. (However, the journal does have its own web site.) The Society does have an intriguing e-mail discussion list; archives of postings to that mailing list are available at the SCP web site.

Unravelling Wittgenstein's Net--A Christian ThinkTank

This web sites tends to specialize in defending the reliability and inerrancy of the New Testament. "This complex of pages represents one man's Christian journey through 20th-century Western thought. It contains his reflections on philosophy, on theology, on spirituality, on apologetics. These are not abstract opinions, but rather serious, committed, and honest attempts to confront the urgent and contemporary questions of skeptics, of believers, of himself, and of his God..." This site links to the Secular Web.

The Wall

"FaithQuest is a web site for those souls who have embarked upon a faith quest, and feel as though their search has left them backed up against a wall. The Links to this site consist of various pages that I hope will be of some assistance to my fellow sojourners in their attempt to break out of the maddening silence of God's seeming absence." This web site contains the writings of many Christian philosophers, including Alvin Plantinga, Marilyn Adams, Stephen Davis, Nicholas Rescher, David Basinger, Edward Wierenga, Eleonore Stump, William Alston, Richard Swinburne, Peter VanInwagen, Louis Pojman, and Kelly Clark.
